What is Brand Positioning in relation to Branding?
Think of brand positioning as a filing system, but one in your consumers’ minds. Kotler defined brand positioning as “the act of designing the company’s offering and image to occupy a distinctive place in the mind of the target market”. If you want your brand to be there, to be remembered, to be on top of mind, the consumers have to be able to differentiate the brand and perceive the branding in ways that we intend them to.

Logo and brand identity not only give your brand a personality, but they also tell the brand story without having to say a word. Hence, effective logo and brand identity must be created based on branding elements such as brand DNA, brand values, and brand personality. They support the entire storytelling process; taking the consumers to next level of experiencing and recognizing the brand.
